Parker’s First Day of Kindergarten is a children’s book centered around a young girl experiencing an important milestone: her first day of kindergarten. The project called for colorful, engaging illustrations that would capture Parker’s personality and make the classroom environment feel welcoming and exciting for young readers.
The goal was to bring the story to life through expressive characters, a warm classroom setting, and detailed visual elements that children could easily connect with.
We created vibrant, child-friendly illustrations with expressive characters and a colorful classroom environment. Parker was designed with a strong, confident personality, while the classroom included playful details such as the chalkboard, educational activities, globe, desks, decorations, and children's artwork.
Careful attention was given to character expressions, poses, clothing, and environmental details to create a visually engaging style throughout the book while keeping the artwork approachable and exciting for young readers.
The completed illustrations bring Parker’s first kindergarten experience to life through vibrant colors, expressive character design, and a lively classroom environment. The artwork creates a warm and engaging visual experience that helps young readers connect with Parker and her new school adventure.
