At Kidillus, each illustration, book design, and artwork is treated as a unique creative journey. Since we operate as a Tech-Enabled Studio, our primary method of delivery is digital, secure, and instant. We ensure that every client receives their files safely, promptly, and with complete documentation — including our Certificate of Final Delivery.
1. Agency Services: Digital Delivery
For custom illustrations and design commissions, we have upgraded from simple emails to a secure platform. All final assets are delivered through your Private User Dashboard.
- Primary Delivery: High-resolution files are uploaded directly to your Order Page for instant download.
- Backup Delivery: Secure links (Google Drive/Dropbox) may be sent via email as a secondary backup.
- Average Delivery Window: 3–10 business days (varies by project complexity).
- Book Illustration Sets: 10–25 business days, depending on the number of pages and feedback stages.
- Access Duration: Files remain available on your Dashboard indefinitely as long as your account is active.
You will receive a system notification and email containing:
- The completed high-resolution files (PNG, JPG, PDF).
- Source files (PSD, AI, or layered formats) if included in your plan.
- A Digital Certificate of Final Delivery & Usage Rights verifying your ownership.
2. Platform Services: Instant Activation
For authors using our Self-Publishing Platform and Wallet System, "shipping" is immediate upon payment confirmation:
- VIP Subscriptions: Activated instantly. Your "Gold Badge" or "Top Rank" status is applied immediately after successful payment.
- Wallet Top-ups: Credits are added to your Kidillus Wallet immediately and are ready for use.
- Book Listings: Once submitted, your book goes live on the platform instantly (subject to a brief 12-24 hour moderation check).
3. Physical Book Printing (For Authors)
For authors ordering printed copies of their books (Paperback/Hardcover) directly from Kidillus:
A. Production Time (Print-on-Demand)
Since we print each book fresh to ensure the latest version, please allow time for production before shipping:
- Paperbacks: 3–5 business days for printing.
- Hardcovers: 5–7 business days for printing & binding.
B. Shipping Time (Transit)
Once printed, books are dispatched via logistics partners (FedEx, DHL, India Post):
- Domestic (India): 3–7 business days.
- International: 10–15 business days (subject to customs clearance).
4. Certificate of Final Delivery & Usage Rights
Every custom illustration project delivered by Kidillus includes a professionally issued digital certificate confirming that the project has been officially completed and transferred to the client.
The certificate includes:
- Project Title and Client Name.
- Date of Final Delivery and Certificate Number (e.g., KDL-1025-002).
- Statement confirming full and final transfer of rights after payment.
- Authorized signature from Aadil Khan (Kidillus Studio).
- Terms ensuring exclusive client ownership and copyright protection.
This certificate serves as both proof of completion and legal confirmation of creative rights transfer to the client under Indian Copyright Law.
5. Physical Prints & Certificates (Optional)
Although Kidillus primarily delivers digital artworks, physical prints or framed certificates can be requested. Printing and courier services are charged separately and may vary by location. Tracking details are shared once the shipment is dispatched.
- Shipping Partners: India Post, DHL, or FedEx (depending on region).
- Delivery Timeframe: 7–15 business days (for physical dispatches).
- Packaging: Protective sleeves and rigid boxes to avoid damage.
Any physical shipment includes the same digital certificate printed and signed as proof of authenticity.
6. Customs & Import Duties
For international book shipments, the recipient is responsible for any customs duties or import taxes levied by their country's government. Kidillus has no control over these charges and they are not included in the shipping fee.
7. Lost or Damaged Shipments
If your book package arrives strictly damaged (torn pages, bent cover) or is lost in transit, please report it within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will reprint and ship a replacement copy free of charge.
8. Lost or Inaccessible Files
Thanks to our Proprietary Tech Engine, your files are safer than ever. While email links expire, your User Dashboard retains your project history. If you lose local copies, simply log in to re-download them free of charge. (Archival fees may only apply for projects older than 2 years that require cold-storage retrieval).
9. International Deliveries
All digital deliveries are available globally. Physical shipments are currently available in select countries only. We ensure that delivery timelines are communicated clearly for every international project, considering time zones and language preferences.
10. Revisions & Delivery Confirmation
After receiving the final artwork, clients have a revision window as agreed in the project terms (typically 2 rounds). Upon final approval, Kidillus issues the Certificate of Final Delivery marking the project as complete. This confirmation acts as the final step in your creative order.
11. Responsibility & Limitations
Kidillus is responsible for ensuring on-time digital delivery via the Dashboard. However, delays or interruptions caused by internet outages, server maintenance (communicated in advance), or client-side connection issues are beyond our control but will be promptly resolved upon notice.
12. Record Keeping & Verification
A record of every project, including its delivery certificate and artwork files, is securely archived in our database for verification purposes. This enables clients to retrieve copies or verify authenticity even months after completion.
